Attracting Wildlife

Here is the recipe for Tweet Treat that we made in our Wild About Texas Wildlife class:

1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup regular birdseed
1/4 cup uncooked oatmeal or cornmeal
1 tablespoon of raisins
Mix all in a ziplock bag.
Make sure the top is zipped tight before you mix it up.

Now you can smear you Tweet Treat on a tree branch or fence.
Make sure you put it where you can watch to see what bird or animal comes for dinner!

SECRET TIP:
You really can just use peanut butter without any other ingredients and you will still attract birds and animals.  You will get more birds if you add the other ingredients.
